body, mind, and spirit

We are spiritual souls housed in a human body. Our spirit is constantly at work energizing our bodies and minds. All too often we look toward the physical ailment alone and ignore how our energy may be blocked. Meditation helps balance the life force within our bodies, rejuvinating our physical body allowing it to heal.

meditation helps us heal

Humans are affected by three kinds of diseases, those of the body, mind, and soul. The body is affected by physical ailments, such as those brought on by bacteria, viruses, toxins, and wounds that cause physical suffering. The mind is affected by mental ailments that cause mental suffering, which include anxiety, fear, worry, and anger. And our soul is affected by our disconnectedness or forgetfulness of our divine nature. This is where we focus on our physical being and feel completely alone and separated from God or the Infinite.

Our disconnectedness creates disharmony between our body, mind, and soul and leaves us susceptible to all sort of ailments and suffering. Mental suffering can often cause physical ailments and our spiritual disconnectedness can cause both mental and physical suffering.

Meditation allows our soul to reconnect with its divine nature, God or the Infinite, which brings harmony to our mind, body, and soul. Over time, practicing meditation helps us heal.

healing heroes

I believe we are all heroes when it comes to facing adversity in our lives. Each of us could write an adventure about what we have gone through, how we have tried to heal the wounds, and how we have grown into the person we are today. I would love to hear your story.

healing artists

Throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to meet, study, and work with so many remarkable healers. People that I think of as healing artists, each with their own special gift to offer the world. I love how passionate they are about their craft, whether it is massage, myofascial release therapy, shiatsu, psychotherapy, chiropractic care, physical therapy, spiritual healing, or a combination of these or others, I have learned and continue to learn from them all.

You may find that sometimes it feels right to face your journey on your own, and other times you feel you want help. The great news is that it's your choice and your path is uniquely your own. If you have had a wonderful experience with a healing practitioner, please email me your story, so I can share with others.
